We desire to see creativity released as an anointed expression of His Kingdom.  We believe the Father wants to reveal His character, release revelation, and draw people into closer relationship with Him through the creative arts.

Romans 1:20 says, "For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” The Holy Spirit within us desires to release the same revelatory power he imparted into His creation through the things we make in partnership with Him. Our drawings can reveal God's heart to heal; our paintings can be a window into the spirit; our poetry can break bondages; our songs can prophesy destiny; our dances can demolish strongholds. The most creative One of all dwells in us, and He wants to create with us for His glory!

Minister the Gospel
  • Through the creative arts, we can, “Proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons.” Freely we have received, and freely we can give (Matt 10:7-8).
  • With the Gifts of the Spirit in partnership with creativity in the believer, we can minister the heart of God uniquely through all expressions of creativity.
  • Everything we create with God receives life from the Word, Jesus, and His life brings light to everyone: “In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.” (John 1:1-5 NLT)
Equip the Saints
  • God is releasing revelation to the church that is revolutionizing the way we do “ministry.” We are entering a time when the Gospel will be preached through new, creative means.
  • People are designed uniquely, and they receive love in different ways. The Father knows how to intimately speak to the heart of each of His kids. One person may not be impacted by someone prophesying over them in the “traditional way,” but a prophetic painting may "speak their language," completely opening their heart to the Father’s love.
  • Many saints may have disqualified themselves from ministry because they “can’t stand behind a pulpit and preach.”  Our heart is for the revelation of creativity to launch believers into the unique ministry they are called to, whether in the church, the workplace, or at home.
  • In Genesis 1:1, the very first thing God decides to tell us about Himself is that He is creative. We are made in His image, so every person has some form of creativity.
  • Some Christians express doubts about their “creative skills,” thinking that God merely tolerates the time they spend on artistic projects. But God is not tolerating their gifts, He is celebrating them!   We want the body of Christ to know that the Father is saying, “YES! I designed you to create like me! You can release the power of the Gospel in a way that no one else can, reaching people that only you can reach, when you partner with Me to make something for My glory.”
  • We are created to create in the image of our Creator.
Impact Culture
  • "The arts represent an outlet of expression, that is usually influenced by culture and which in turn helps to change culture. As such, the arts are a physical manifestation of the internal creative impulse.” (Wikipedia Definition of "The Arts”).
  • From prehistory to present, the arts have played an integral role in defining culture. It is not by accident that God is positioning His kids to create. When we create from His heart, we release His heart. The arts can be a vessel to permeate and transform culture, turning a generation back to the Father.
The Creative Ministry at NCF activates believers in their Kingdom call through teams, conferences, workshops, and events.  In addition, we purpose to serve and love our community well through creative outreach and services projects.
