“Have faith in God, Jesus answered.” (Mk.11:22NIV)  “Trust in God; Trust also in me.” (Jn.14:1NIV)

“We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote--Jesus of Nazareth...”   “Simon Peter answered, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” (Jn.1:45, Mt.16:16 NIV)

Since we know who Jesus is we need to act and be definite. For hundreds of years, through the many prophets of Israel, God had spoken about the coming of the Messiah.  He was going to be God’s answer for the needs of people.  All the nations were going to be blessed through him.
We need to be intentional (definite, aggressive) in trusting him!

“To him (Jesus) who loves  and has freed us from our sins by his blood.” “He who did not spare not his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things.” (Rev.1:5, Ro.8:32 NIV)

Knowing God’s love for us in giving his Son to die in our place to free us from the Judgement and bondage of sin; knowing Jesus’ willingness to die, to deliver us from sin that separates us from God,  we need to be definite, clear and intentional in faith. Let us commit our lives fully to him in faith, trusting him to channel our lives in his will, because of who he is and what he has done for us.

Is Christ Jesus trustworthy?  He has all authority and power given by God.(Mt.28:18)  He shown us his love and faithfulness in giving himself for us.  Let us commit ourselves in faith to him, who has promised help in this life, and eternal blessing in the life to come.
