1. What is the name of your group?

“40 Percent.” It’s named after the 40 percent rule made famous by navy seals.

2. What will your group be about?  What do you want people to take away from your group?

The group is about doing workouts and building relationships together. The workouts will be physically challenging that make you sweat, such as running, biking, lifting weights, volleyball, etc. They are meant to stretch you to maintain or improve your physical fitness. We will also be intentional about building relationships and encouraging each other spiritually through these activities and conversations.

For eg, I, Chuck, have done many physical activities together with Adam VanDeventer and Caleb Cassidy in the last few years. Through that, I have gotten to know them deeper and built closer relationships with them, and even our families have drawn closer too. It’s my hope that this interest group can do the same for more brothers and sisters.

3. Where will you meet?

It depends on the activity, but if we are running, usually at OSU cross country track, or Boomer lake.

4. How often, what day of the week, and what time?

Once a week as a whole group, but people are also encouraged to meet with others on their own to do their preferred activities. The date, time and location are all flexible and depend on what we are doing. For eg, several of us enjoy running so we will figure out a way to run together. Others enjoy playing volleyball, so they can figure out how to play volleyball together.

5. Who is this group for?
