Men's Outdoor Event - Saturday, Oct 5th

posted Sep 27, 2013, 9:31 AM by Web Admin
Outdoors, "in the wilderness," is where God shows us we have what it takes to be the men He's created us to be.  That capable man of God is in all of us, but he's often hidden behind the wounds, failures and fears of our past. God is inviting us to come out of hiding and give Him the issues of our past.

Join us for a time of masculine fellowship and fun.  We will end with an altar-building ceremony, taking stones that represent the stuff we've been hiding behind and use them to build an altar unto the Lord.

This event is for men ages 12 and up.  It is an all-day event, scheduled for 9am-8pm. Located at the home of Marty and Candy Yundt.  Lunch and dinner will be served.

There will be no lectures or special speakers.  The event is entirely outdoors and will be filled with cool activities such as knife/ax-throwing, tree-climbing and rapelling, horse shoes, washers, learning to start a fire with flint and steel, and more.

Please sign up in the hall at NCF or call 405-624-0723.
